What time is before and after care?

• Before care is from 7:30AM - 8:30AM.
 • After Care is from 3:30PM - 5:30PM.

Hours of Operation for School Year 2025/2026
Effective September 2, 2025, the hours of operation for our campus (including the Nido program) will change to 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This adjustment is being made due to staffing needs and consistently low demand for extended hours. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.

What activities are offered during before and after care?

Question 3

Is snack provided during after care?

Accepted Answer

• Preschool and Kindergarten children are provided a small healthy snack before going to after school care (at approximately 3:15).
 • School-aged children have the option of bringing a snack from home to enjoy during after care.

Question 4

What kind of training do the before and aftercare staff have?

Accepted Answer

• HIHCM program and practice training
 • First aid, CPR, AED, and Epi-pen administration training
 • DHS training (in DHS licensed programs)
 • Role specific training

Question 5

When is before and after care available?

Accepted Answer

• It is available on all regular school days.
 • Before and after care is not provided on days with early dismissals and other non-school days, such as holidays, breaks, and conference days.

Question 6

Are children able to use cell phones or personal devices?

Accepted Answer

Children are encouraged to engage in activities and are asked to keep personal devices at home or in backpacks.  If parents need to be contacted, the children or staff can use the schools phone to call.

This ensures a safe environment for all children.
